What is the difference between condition and unconditional offers?
Conditional offer: This type of admission offer often comes with conditions attached to it. The student is usually required to meet certain requirements in order to be assured of their place in the institution. For example, official transcripts from your university may be requested or an English Language Proficiency test.
The admission team of the institution may base this on both academic and non-academic accomplishments. These include specific grades, exam results or proof of identification, etc.
Unconditional offer: If you received an unconditional offer, it means you already secured a place in the course. However this doesn’t mean it’s a straight journey in, accept the offer, process your visa, pay tuition deposits, submit transcripts and POF, and other documents that may be requested.
What can I do after getting my admission?
Read the offer letter thoroughly and confirm if it’s a conditional offer (Pre-offer) or a letter of Acceptance (Unconditional).
Accept the offer by fulfilling the necessary requirements and at least paying the tuition deposit.
Begin the application process for your study permit.
